Porter Square was named for the now-vanished Porter’s Hotel, operated by Zachariah B. Porter, who also left his name to the hotel’s specialty, the cut of steak known as PORTERHOUSE. The hotel was demolished in 1909 and rebuilt in 2015

We are serving only the finest meats, from animals raised humanely, sustainably and without the use of hormones and antibiotics al provided by Brandt Natural Beef.  The freshest seafood from sustainable fisheries,is delivered twice daily, by Captain MardenVegies and herbs are coming from neighboring New England farms.
